Poetry Study
In a Charlotte Mason education, Poetry Study offers children the quiet joy of becoming familiar with the voice of a single poet over time. Each 12-week term is dedicated to one poet, allowing students to slowly absorb the rhythm, language, and ideas within their work.
Rather than analyzing poems academically, students simply read, listen to, and enjoy a short poem each week. Over time, this steady exposure nurtures an ear for beauty, a love for words, and a growing connection to the thoughts and emotions of great writers.
One poet per term. One poem per week. A lasting friendship with words.
