Composer Study

Composer study in a Charlotte Mason education is one of the feast subjects. A varied curriculum exposes students to music, art, poetry, literature, sciences, etc. Students study one composer in each of the three terms during the year. During this time, the students become familiar with the music, learning a little about the composer’s life but much more about the style of his music. Each Composer Study consists of 11 weeks of lessons and one examination week.
