Moravia Press seeks to impart beauty, truth, and hope through resources that foster an education of discipleship.

✨ Thoughtfully Designed and Carefully Curated

Epoch & Echo is a curated, era-based curriculum that begins with history as the anchor. You’ll choose a historical epoch—such as the Ancient World, the Middle Ages, or Modern Times—and from there, explore echoes in three meaningful directions:

  • Echoes of Beauty: composers, artists, poets, and folk songs that reflect the spirit of the time
  • Echoes of Place: physical and political geography, landmarks, and country studies connected to the era
  • Echoes in Form and Light: a visual journey through the architecture and art that shaped—and was shaped by—each civilization

Rather than scattered subjects, this approach offers a cohesive, guided experience, helping families learn through story, beauty, culture, and place—all flowing from a single point in time.

One Epoch. Many Echoes. A Journey Through History, Beauty, and Place.

Epoch and Echoes: a Curated Journey Through History, Beauty, and Place

Echoes of Beauty

Choose from:

  • composer study that capture the sound of the era
  • poetry study that gives voice to its thoughts and emotions
  • artist and picture study that reflect its values, landscapes, or daily life
  • folk songs and cultural traditions passed down through generations

Echoes of Place

echoes of place brings the world into focus by connecting your history studies to meaningful geography. As you explore a chosen epoch, this guide leads you to the places, landscapes, and borders that shaped it.

Echoes of Form and Light

echoes of form and light brings the visual legacy of history into focus by connecting each epoch to its defining art and architectural expressions. Designed for middle school students and older, this study invites learners to explore how civilizations expressed their values, beliefs, and innovations through form, structure, and visual beauty.

As you journey through a chosen epoch, this guide highlights the buildings, sculptures, and artworks that not only adorned each era but helped shape the way people lived, worshiped, and imagined the world. From ancient temples to Gothic cathedrals, Renaissance frescoes to modern skylines, students will trace the visual language of history—one structure, one masterpiece at a time.

What moms are saying:

  • Living history, excellent books!

"I am so excited for the release of Ancient World History. We have absolutely loved using this curriculum for our history. It brings history to life through reading living books. The book selection is amazing. My daughter has found her favorite authors through the books in this program. One of my daughter’s favorite parts is following the “players” of history each week. As the teacher I most enjoy the thorough summaries of the key details which have helped me tremendously to tie all the readings together each week. I can’t wait to this volume!"

  • Rich Charlotte Mason resource

"Filled with rich literature, The Symphony of History will help you dive into history with your students.

Brimming with not only books but additional resource ideas, you'll be equipped to lead your children through this era in history in a meaningful and engaging way. Tiffany's knowledge and passion for history truly shines through in each lesson.

While this makes an excellent history resource, it is also filled with biographies, literature, geography, and church history. It would make an excellent resource for a Charlotte Mason homeschool."

  • History is our favorite subject now!

"I got word that the new history volume is available for sale and in my excitement, I purchased it right away!

We’re finishing up Vol. 5 Sonata and the boys and I have really enjoyed it through and through. I’m totally looking forward to ancient history next year. History has been our favorite subject thanks to you - im soooo very grateful for all your hard work!"

  • Simple to implement, beautiful!

"The Symphony of History is beautifully written from a biblical worldview. The layout is very user friendly, incorporating 3 different level student so if you have multiple forms this curriculum would be ideal for you. It simplifies history in your homeschool by having students working from the same curriculum at their own levels.

In the front of the curriculum is a thorough explanation on how to utilize the material. i have not seen a curriculum before that is so beautifully laid out. Highly recommend!"

I have the joy and privilege of homeschooling our five boys, and it’s an honor to encourage others on this journey of pursuing Beauty, Truth, and Hope in their homes and hearts.
