Jingle Bells, a Christmas Preschool
This mini preschool study seeks to provide learning opportunities in a variety of Christmas themes. Savor the Christmas season with your preschool student while memorizing Scripture, learning the Christmas Story, listening to hymns and classic songs, enjoying poetry and art, and a host of extended learning opportunities.
Each week of study will focus on learning one aspect of the reason for the Christmas holiday: the promise, the story, and the gift. Further, each week includes songs that complement the theme, beautiful poetry and art to enjoy the anticipation of the season, and excellent and engaging books to instill wonder in the little ones for whom this season is full of joy.
Every week includes ten activities to enjoy, which can be completed in any order or number that suits your schedule. I recommend starting each week with the Scripture passage to set the “stage,” but after that, pick and choose what works best for you.
- Learn: The Promise of Christ’s coming, The Story of his birth, The Gift of who He is
- Hymns: O Little Town of Bethlehem, Away in a Manger, Little Drummer Boy
- Songs: Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Jingle Bells
- Cross-curricular: snow, reindeer, and evergreens
- Poetry, art, crafts, baking, and games!
