William Wordsworth
William Wordsworth... Romantic poet

Born in the Lake District of England, Wordsworth traveled through France and England, writing poetry that celebrated nature, emphasized emotion and feeling, and was fascinated with the beauty of childhood and the past.
- Learn about iambic tetrameter and the Petrarchan sonnet
- Enjoy the symbolism of resistance and courage and how Wordsworth recalls the ancient symbol of the Roman aquila
