A lover of the planets and fascinated with the mystical character of celestial bodies, Holst composed a series of orchestral suites that magnificently capture the feel and personality of each of the gods our planets are named after. This term long study looks at each individual movement and other seminal work by Holst, presenting his amazing talent in a meaningful way.

This guide is designed to be used over one term (12 weeks) with one lesson occurring every week for approximately 20 minutes. I do encourage you to informally listen to various pieces aside from formal lesson times.
